WHAT REALLY DISTURBS THE CRITICS 

and the

Roman Catholic Church

What really disturbs (sadly) some of the critics of The Two Babylons is the assertion that the Roman Catholic Church has links to a Pagan system of idolatry, that can be proven and demonstrated historically. Obviously, to even say such a thing is disturbing. But to actually know that it can be proven and demonstrated only makes the problem worse. 

By the way, take a look at just one of the Titles of the Pope, PONTIFEX MAXIMUS for a moment, and read the history of this Pagan Title and who the Title belonged to Originally. This Title is a title that existed Long Before the Roman Catholic Church. It was part of the system of Pagan god worship in the Roman Empire. 

Once again, this IS something that Alexander Hislop wrote in The Two Babylons

The Proof does appear to be significant, but many people today do not want to talk about this. The Authors during centuries past were Much clearer and direct. There is conclusive historical evidence that Ancient Authors knew that the Roman Catholic Church was identified with Babylon and a historical character known as the Whore of Babylon. (by the way, that is NOT our term. You can find this term listed in the Bible in the passage of Revelation 17)

We cite below - only a few examples, to demonstrate that this is an opinion about the Roman Catholic Church, which has been held by other Authors and Historians for - literally - Centuries:

We have left the spelling as it appears in the original titles of these books. Take a look at the Date of the Books. These are very old books. What Alexander Hislop was saying in The Two Babylons is hardly something new.

By the way, there are still many groups of occultists that 1) recognize that the RCC is promoting occultist doctrines and teachings, and 2) seeks to have them continue to do so, especially in Roman Catholic Convents - which are the building blocks of a system of reborn witchcraft who are working on behalf of the Mother Goddess/Isis. we can find the documentary evidence of WITCHRAFT  & occult networks and cells honeycoming the Roman Catholic Orders and Convents in the book Ungodly Rage: The Hidden Face of Catholic Feminism. The Book first was published in 1991. Now the witchcraft/Goddess movement in the Catholic Church is much larger, and better organized.

In view of the trends within the Catholic Church, the material of the Two Babylons - if anything - is both TIMELY and understated. It is very relevant to the world of today, and anyone wanting to know either about Ancient Religion, or the Roman Catholic Church and its doctrines, would find The Two Babylons an indispensable tool.

And, lest the Eastern Orthodox Church should think that this is not happening in its church, we should keep in mind that the same thing is happening there, although the process of occult acculturation is different within the EOC. It is not any Mistake that the possessed Mr. Gurdjieff told his followers of the Fourth Way, that they should join and work in the Eastern Orthodox Church, something many of them have done.

What conclusion can we draw about The Two Babylons and its views on the Roman Catholic Church ?

That the conclusions of The Two Babylons are supported by many ancient authors (listed and referenced in the book) and many authors In Addition to that, and that the designation of the RCC (and therefore the EOC also) as the Whore of Babylon listed in the Book of Revelation is a conclusion drawn by dozens of authors over hundreds of years, and that has been supported since antiquity and the creation of the Roman Catholic Church by Constantine. 

The Two Babylons is a book that is worth reading and owning.
