What most people who are not directly involved in the process (and some who are) do not realize is that it is not the local pastors who are taking things to extreme...On Their Own.

They are doing this directly in response to the Rick Warren Material. They contact the Warren Consulting Group, and when they do this, that is when the real changes in the churches begin.

Do you know that Church Consultants using and promoting Rick Warren Materials fly in to visit the church - in many cases -  to speak directly with the pastor, and pressure him to sign on with them and their "consulting option"  (sign contracts that financially commit the Church) ?

Do you know  that when the Warren Consulting Group does not come in to a local church, that they fly the Pastor out to their own training center, for training seminars, and that they do not want the contents of the training seminars to be disclosed to the Local Church Congregations ? 

[Don't worry, your church will be billed for the expenses]

Do you know that the Local Pastors are asked to sign non-disclosure agreements that prevents them from disclosing the nature of the training that they are receiving from the Warren Consulting Group, to their own church congregations ?

Do you know  that Local Congregations do NOT have access to the training and training materials that they are paying for - through the church - that their Pastor is undergoing...somewhere very far out of their reach ?

Do you know that when the Pastors of the local congregations come back, that THIS is when those pastors begin making those changes in their church ?

Do you know  that when those Pastors make changes to their local churches, that these are changes that take place both Doctrinally, and in the Corporate Structure of the Local Church ?

Do you know that the consultants of the Warren Consulting Group are consulting and supervising the process (with and through that local Pastor) without the knowledge of the Local Congregation - even while the process of change is taking place ?

Do you realize that what the Warren Consulting Group is doing...is essentially acting in the place of the Board of Elders and the Board of Deacons, and that they are the ones who are giving advice to the Pastor - that he is following, and OFTEN doing this WITHOUT the awareness of the local church deacons or elders ?

Do you know that the Warren Consulting Group very much discourages pastors from sharing with either their board of elders or their church congregations...what is taking place...until AFTER their changes have been implemented ?

These are not individual decisions implemented by a few local Pastors.


These are decisions directed by the Warren Consulting Group over THOUSANDS of churches, in which they play a very active and direct role in changing many aspects of the local church, and where they supervise the process ...as it takes place.

These changes are the direct result of Rick Warren and the various "Church Consultants" of the loosely affiliated Warren Consulting Group.


They turn churches inside out, and their turn the theology of the church upside down. But they operate through non-disclosure agreements that the Pastor signs, and so then he feels BOUND to NOT tell his congregations about the Changes that He is initiating.


This is Wrong !

What is worse is that the Pastor gets caught up in this, and then tries to get each member of the congregation to sign non-disclosure agreements about what is taking place within that church as well (these documents are called "covenants" in the PDL terminology).

The result for the congregation is twofold:

1. They cannot tell non-church members about the changes that are taking place within their own local church congregation, and

2. They cannot discuss what the changes are in the church, to OTHER church members who have not signed the non-disclosure agreements.

This is very very wrong !



They are participating in the takeover and change in their own churches, and they don't see it because they can't put enough of the pieces together Fast Enough to understand what is going on.

This is taking place in THOUSANDS of churches.




There is Much More to the PDL/PDC material and theology than simply the two books of Rick Warren. They are simply the "foot in the door".

What is meant by the term "Warren Consulting Group" ?

The Warren Consulting Group is a term used on the Internet to denote the Church Consultants and Church Victimizers who are trying to push either the Material of Rick Warren or the Material developed by Rick Warren and/or those who work with him (formally or informally) for the purpose of causing Churches to default OUT of Christianity INTO the Purpose Driven Church Models of Increased Numerical Growth [attempts] but Decreased Spiritual Growth, using techniques, tactics and theology which is often Anti-Biblical and Against Historic Christianity. Those involved in the Warren Consulting Group would include those involved in Warren Leadership Networks, Teachers and Speakers at Warren Conventions, Church Consultants and Consulting firms that use and promote Rick Warren material(s) and/or Purpose Driven Materials. 

2 Timothy 3:1-9

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.
