If You Disagree with XOFC

 

Remember, many people are not looking for truth.  Many people look instead for Comfort, for EASY answers.

Most people do not even believe that it is possible for TRUTH to be found.  Sure, truth so long as it is your truth, that is different from the truth of someone else, which will also be different from the truth of another person.

That is not the kind of truth we are talking about. Truth is that which is objective. Truth stands outside of us, and is separate from our opinions. Truth is what can be proved Independently of the opinions we hold to.

Something is not "more true" or less true, simply because we WANT that to be the case.

Some people reading this page are already hurting. Just those few lines bothered them.

They are not used to thinking for themselves. Making this effort is painful. Most Americans have been educated into something called group-think, or "consensus thinking". This is designed in order to break down a person's ability to think, or to think for themselves. Millions of Americans have been raised by teachers who even are assigned to follow them from one grade to the next , and to make sure that they are conforming to official orthodoxy. The goal is to make good serfs.

Americans need to remember that they need to be as subservient as everyone else on the planet already is, and that begins also in the area of accepting a hierarchical structure in Religious settings.  Don't question authority.

Remember the plan. The plan was to make sure that most Americans would loose their rights, and remain also at the sixth grade reading level. The ideal was to put most people to sleep - even theologically - to get them to sleep and think that all is well and we will all be alright and everyone will be comfortable.

Today most Americans only read at the 6th grade level. The rest of the world is passing them by. American Jobs and Factories have been exported to other Nations. Americans have literally paid to have their own factories move overseas. Now millions of Americans do not have those jobs anymore. The middle class is vanishing very fast. 

Knowledge and learning can slow this down on an individual basis, but that requires real effort and dedication.

Most Americans have no idea about their historic heritage, or how Freedom loving people founded this country.

Many professors have tried to get Americans to hate themselves, to hate being an American. The goal is to get Americans to voluntarily overthrow their own rights. Imagine the day when the United Nations will rule over all, and the assets of the American Nation will be given to everyone else instead.

The first step is to erase the borders of the nation. If there is no sovereignty, then there will be no "constitutional rights" because there will be No U.S. Constitution. The next step would be to Merge the Currency. Disolve the national currency. The final steps would simply be to create a National I.D.  Then merge the currency AND the National I.D. into one Mark on your right hand or forehead, that no man might buy or sell.

 

Now be quiet and take your Mark

 

But that is not going to happen right ? Because you can simply relax, do what you have been told, and continue to believe that you can take your Bible as a "Metaphor" ?

You don't need to take the Bible Literally. All of those prophecies don't really matter. Be warm and filled...

So what would upset you about this ? the idea that these events take place, or the idea that you did not know about them sooner ?

It is easy to be comfortable. It is easy NOT to improve ourselves, NOT to learn, NOT to grow.

To ask hard questions of your priest, to ask hard questions about the History of the Churches or the History of the Denominations, THAT is much harder. 

It is easy to find Boards or discussion sites to surround ourselves with those who agree with us.

But God will hold each one of us personally and individually accountable for what we CHOOSE to believe.

Chosing what to believe remains our individual choice.

Not Chosing, or Chosing to ignore issues, those are Choices also.

We find many Eastern Orthodox who are willing to label others, rather than asking questions or seeking objective historic information.

Much easier to insult or label someone, rather than to take risks by reading or sending an email that has questions.

In the realm of Eastern Orthodoxy, it is almost always easier to simply accept ignorance disguised as a "mystery".

 

Remember your programing: You have been instructed that history and difficult answers are a "Mystery".

 

Don't Question your Authority

Obey your Programing

Don't ask questions that make your priest uncomfortable

 

 

Not that you need our permission, but we just want to let you know that it is fine if you disagree with us.

 

If you point out where we are wrong, we will listen.                                               

 

If you send us documentation, we will look at it (though we will not be able to return it).

 

If we find your points convincing, we are open to changing.

 

We do not claim to be perfect. We recognize that our website will be flawed. Probably some of what we believe as well. All we can tell you is that:

 

1. we attempt to be up-front in what we believe

 

2. We attempt to document what the basis for our claims or our assertions are (especially if asked)

 

3. If we do not have the answer or know the answer, we will inform you of this.  

4. If you ask us to do research, do not be surprised if we ask you to do research on your own as well. We cannot sometimes conduct research - if only - because we do not have the hundreds of man-hours to fill all of the comments or requests that come in to us. However you the reader, as an individual often do have time to do additional reading and research. You Can find a library. You can buy other books out on the net or at bookstores. You can make a list of questions, and submit them to us, and then to your Priest.

(There are many ways to do the research - we are just suggesting a few).

 

5. Be open to seeking truth and accuracy. If either you or we are insisting on being un-willing to change (for the sake of being unwilling), then we only demonstrate that our Core Commitment is to self-protection, rather than to Truth. But all Christians should make Truth and knowing and learning truth their highest Goal and Priority right after Salvation, and personal study time in the Bible. As Christians, the World expects this of us, the Lord expects this of us, and the Bible gives us the means to do this.

 

6. Please be thorough in your questioning. Please finish reading the pages that have prompted your questions. Please be sure that you have read the other webpages here that are relevant to your topic. Often we do have relevant information posted on other pages on this site (or soon to be posted), so please try to be sure that you have heard All of our views on a particular topic.
