What does the Bible Say about the End Times ?

3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance [so that you will remember]:

2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers [mockers], walking after their own lusts [people dedicated to their own self-indulgent pleasure],

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of [deliberately pretending not to know], that by the word of God [God himself speaking the World into Existence] the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished [in the days of the Flood of Noah]:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved [intended for] unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition [Perdition: humans being condemned to a life in the spiritual dimention..of unending Eternal Death] of ungodly men [men: Generic for Mankind].

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord[God] is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night [by surprise]; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be [Should you be] in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat ?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord (Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ)  is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned (those who do not care enough to Read and Study the New Testament) and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest (Unless) ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (Unrestrained), fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Where is the Passage in the Bible that mentions the Rapture ?

[The Rapture is the Doctrine of those who are genuine Christ-Followers are taken up into Heaven in order to be with Jesus Christ himself, during the time of the Great Tribulation. The Word Rapture (comes from the word RAPTUROS, which means - letterally - SNATCHED AWAY -) It is those who are Christians [and anyone can become a Christian who wants to and it is FREE] who are "Caught UP" into the clouds to be taken into Heaven and who do escape the Great Tribulation.  The Concept of the Rapture is debated; however, whether the Rapture Happens, or whether the Rapture does NOT happen, the Rapture itself DOES NOT PREVENT the fact of the Time Period known as the Great Tribulation from happening to everyone on the Earth. Those who want to be Christians will be Christians, those who chose not to become a Christian (or who make the choice to Not be a Christian by simply refusing to become one) will not become one. it is a SELF-SELECTIVE PERSONAL-CHOICE Process !!  ] 

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ [christians who have died] shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren [Fellow Christians], are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

I Thessalonians 4 & 5

What is the Great Tribulation ?

The Great Tribulation is the time period when God allows Mankind to act on their own behalf, and to try to run the planet, entirely WITHOUT God. 

Those - at that point - who have decided to be in their own life - without Jesus Christ - are simply Left Behind ...to live life and experience the planet as it is under the Dominion of Mankind WITHOUT GOD.  God is no longer there to Restrain Evil, and during the last Half of the Tribulation, Satan himself (who is a Litteral Actual Being who wants to drag every Human to Hell where he (Satan) is going) Rules the world through Agents who pretend to be helping mankind but actually are working Against God and His own plan.  The Final Battle between those who have chosen to be For God and those who have chosen to be Against God...takes place at the Plain of Meggido in Israel...and is called:

Arma-Geddon

The Tribulation - Technically - lasts 7 Years and begins with the Signing of a Peace Treaty that Garantees the Geographic Borders of the Nation-State of Israel For a period of SEVEN YEARS. 

A distinction needs to be made between 1) the Tribulation and 2) the GREAT Tribulation

THe Tribulation lasts Seven Years. 

The GREAT Tribulation - is the LAST 3 1/2 years of the Seven Year Tribulation

Many people think that they are Christians when they are not. 

No one is Born a Christian. No one becomes a Christian "automatically"

Being born into a "Christian" Family does NOT make a person a genuine Christian

Being Baptized does NOT make a person a Genuine Christian.

Only being Sincerely Saved and Genuinely appealing to God for Forgiveness of Sins

in the Name of Jesus Christ can make a person a Christian. 

Christians are NOT better than anyone else. 

(even though with the Help of God, they do Try to help others)

Christians are NOT closer to GOD because they DESERVE to be saved

because of their own Merits. 

There is no action that Anyone can take in order to MERIT or "deserve" the Favor of God. 

All anyone can do is ASK God to save them, and believe in Him sincerely, and

through this process of Repentance, God will then Save them. 

Many people Object to Christianity because

1. It is TOO SIMPLE

2. It is FREE, and

3. It brings Spiritual Empowerment and Encouragement to the Souls and Spirits of Mankind
