The Problem with State Religions, and State Sponsored Churches

A distinction has to be made between For example - Protestant Churches which are Independent, and those which are STATE SPONSORED, that is financially subsidized by the Federal Government.

Governments that financially sponsor Churches usually ruin the very Churches they are sponsoring. The real problems can be found (on the Protestant side) NOT with the first or second generations where this is the case, but rather with the Generations that follow, who begin to rely on that State Government for Funds, instead of on the Reality and Faithfullness of God, which would by a living testimony to others ...about the reality of God.

Churches which accept State Funds usually tend to forget about the Reality of God, pretty quickly.

The Protestants are sadly [ since the 1900s] Not much more immune from the Corruption of State Affiliation (being an Official STATE Church) - than the Roman Catholics. The main difference is that when the Roman Catholics become an Official State Church, they explode Outward into Persecution. When the Protestants become an Official State Church, they IMPLODE into a squalid Pale imitation of Christianity, devoid of strength, bereft of vision, and turned over to the enemies of God,  those who make it their life mission to confuse and confound the parishioners whom they claim to serve.

The State Corruption of the Roman Catholic Church [explosion] exists wherever the Roman Catholics have a monopoly on the State Religion, whether this is Italy, or Spain, or Mexico and Argentina.

The State Corrupt of the Protestant Church [implosion] exists wherever the Protestants have a monopoly on the State Religion, such as in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Holland and England, the best example of State Corruption of a Church being the Anglican Church who are just as much in a Hurry to overturn the Reformation as much as if they were being prompted to this task by the Inquisition. Only what the inquisition could never force them to accomplish, The Anglican leadership is volunteering itself into. (No Surprise that the Anglicans are also proud members of the World Council of Churches).

"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance."

Christian Conversions - According to the Bible - Can NEVER be forced.

Any Conversion to Christianity which would be "Forced" would NOT be recognized by God. It is in His True and KIND nature, that those who come to Him and choose to believe in Him, must come to Him OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL.

Don't Let anyone tell you that Christians support Forced Conversions.

That is False. True Christianity is NEVER forced.
