Two House Israel ?

The House of Judah and the House of Ephraim

 

Part I

The Wrong Jews ? or the Right House ?

There is a recent view about Israel, which seems to be that All of the nation of Israel is not back in the nation-state of Israel. The theory goes that this is holding up certain prophetic events.

The problem – according to this view – is not the Amount of Jews in the world versus those who are residing in Israel, but rather their genealogy. This theory of the “Two Houses” holds that the Problem is that the Jews in Israel today are only from some of the Jewish tribes, but not from ALL of the Jewish tribes.

According to many who claim to believe this, the problem is that we can divide all Jews into the categories of the “Jews” of Ephraim and the Jews of Judah. Apparently the problem – according to this view – is that in Israel there are no Jews from the right tribe.

And one of these "right" tribes are not really jews, or true jews. Apparently the Jews of Ephraim are only really Gentiles.

A few things stand out about this teaching: There is an emphasis not on what the text says but on a “Type” or a “Pattern”. That may be appropriate to certain occasions, but Biblical typology is something that FOLLOWS Biblical Doctrine which is explicitly stated. It does not preceede it - in terms of which deserves the greater weight. The truth of the Bible rests on what is stated explicitly, plainly and directly. So if there is a “Typology” that contradicts the Bible, it needs to be rejected.

True Biblical Typology is consistent with Biblical doctrine. But back to the main problem. The main problem is that there are not enough Jews of Ephraim [gentiles from jewish backgrounds] that are back [??] in the land of Israel.

The following verse(s) is actually quoted in Favor of this view

When the two sticks are brought together (today as seen in Gentile and Jew coming to the unity of the faith, with one LORD, one Faith, one Mikveh, etc.), and there are no more two families, then will Yahweh sanctify Israel, and she will be a blessing to the rest of the families on the earth (this is the fulfillment of the promise to Abraham in the Covenant promise of Genesis 12.) "And the heathen shall know that I Yahweh do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore" (vs. 28).


What is the Truth ?

1. The Truth is that it is Jews of the 12 Tribes that are in the Land of Israel today, and they ARE the ones who Have returned

2. The Gentile nations are known as GENTILE nations. Gentile nations are not Jewish. They are not semitic. The Tribe of Ephraim is not a Tribe, and it is not made up of Gentiles, and those who say that it is are preaching a false doctrine.

It is interesting to note that – Just to be sure that we are clear on Who are the 12 Tribes of Israel, God inspired John to write the names of the 12 tribes down in the book of Revelation. Please notice that the tribe "of Ephraim", is a NON-Existent Tribe, that is NOT among the 12 Tribes (so whoever is suggesting information about the “tribe” of Ephraim is teaching about a “Tribe” that the Bible does not recognize as a tribe). So to teach that there is a tribe of Ephraim concerning End Times Israel is Not what the Bible teaches.

Here is the list of those 12 Tribes:

Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.

7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.

8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.


And did you catch that First verse in the passage, where it directly says that that this number includes ALL of the tribes of Israel, not a few, not a “partial’ number, not a “sub-set” but ALL.


Gentiles need to stay Very far away from being Jews and claiming to be Jews. The first reason is because in 99.99 % of the cases, it is Not true, and the other reason is that Israel is the land of the Jews given to them by God. The first point about that is that the Jews need to be respected because that is what being a good Christian is about: respect for others. If anyone Should have their own homeland, its the Jews; It’s not only what God promised to them, its also the right thing to do (obviously).

The Conclusion is this:

The Gentiles are Not Part of the Jewish Tribes of Israel, and Ephraim is Not one ot the twelve tribes.

 

 

Part II

A LITTLE BLASPHEMY...to go along with the "Tribe of Ephraim"

 

Remember how Part I started:

Here is the prophetic events that are being held up. The writer of this view says the following:

Refering to the previous passage where he states that
Quote:
[when] there are no more two families [Ephraim and Judah], then will Yahweh sanctify Israel

he continues
Quote:
This again will not happen until the Christian Church (which is primarily Gentile, and who finds its Gentile roots coming from Europe from which the Northern Ten Tribes of Israel intermarried and assimilated for well over 2500 years at present) repents of the innate Paganism that is accepted as "orthodoxy" today because of her Biblical illiteracy and loss of her Hebraic Roots. This will not happen until the Gentile Church joins Judah in her acceptance of her Jewish Messiah and rejects the Messiah of Rome

Ok, so far – all we have in this article... is the author who is:

1) seriously off base
2) did not know the 12 tribes
3) contradicted the book of Revelation and
4) insisted on including Gentiles and calling them Jews

These should have been red flags. But now we finally understand what the problem – according to the author of that article is – The Gentile Church has YET to reject the Messiah of Rome.

That is very interesting...if you read the phraseology, its not the Roman Catholic Church that must reject its Messiah, but rather the “Gentile Church”. And how is this Messiah from Rome defined ? Will this author define the Messiah of Rome as the AntiChrist, or as a Pope ? No, Here is what He says: Word for Word :

Then begin to believe like them, to accept their Scriptures over the corrupted ones we have inherited in our Christian Bibles, return to Biblical worship in the Festivals, repent of robbing G-d by practicing the Tithe the way the Christian Church has taught you, repent of idolatrous worship because you accepted Trinitarianism and a false Christology over an Ethical Monotheism.

Oh, so NOW we finally understand who he has defined as the Messiah of Rome, This is the Messiah who taught TRINITARIANISM. In other words, the problem for this author is that the Gentile Church did not Reject the Jesus Christ of the Bible, who is the third person of the Trinity. That is not the Messiah of Rome. That is the Messiah of the Bible that he wants people to Reject !!!

There are many false teachers out there. Knowing what we believe in these times is critical. Understanding how to test the spirit (I John) is critical. Here is what John had to say:

I John 2:22

22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

The Roots of Christianity run 2000 years. There are a lot of Christian leaders to chose from. Whether Calvin or Jonathan Edwards, or Spurgeon, or Tyndale (and the others), there are many many older authors that can be found. As we learn to take time to find out our history, THAT is where we find the Roots of the Christian Faith, as well as in the Bible itself.

Following recent theories of men can lead us far astray. Not everyone who believes in the two-house view would hold to all of these views. But that is part of the problem: When illustrations and typology, and logic and theories begin to substitute for the actual study of the Bible, that is the time when we need to let go of those theories, and take the Bible at its own word.
