There is a lot of material on the Kittel Family (and the influence of

Kittel on Old Testament Studies), that have not been translated into

English. Because of this, access to the information about Kittel and

his Nazi past (and hatred of Jews) have been very limited in

the English Language, a position which has delighted liberal Bible translators

who are only too happy to have fake versions of the Old Testament

masquerading as works of truth and scholarship.

It is with the intention of providing substantive information on the

background of Bible Translations that we have begun to address

and document the Nazi Career of Kittel, and his very wide impact

on Old Testament Translations.

Most of his work on the Old Testament has been accepted by Protestant Evangelicals. It took Liberal German Protestant Theologians to promote Kittel (Both during WWII and after).

 Then his work was accepted and integrated into Most English Bible Translations of the 20th Century through his Old Testament, the Biblia Hebraica (also known as the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia).

Although Kittel's work is still highly praised among Evangelicals (who have been misled), it should be noted that most of the Jewish versions of the Old Testament have strongly REJECTED the work and "scholarship" of both Rudolph (father) and Gerhard (son) Kittel.

It is possible to find Protestant Bibles without an Old Testament mis-translated by the Kittel Family. But there are very few versions to which this applies. The Biblia Hebraica [1937] and the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia [1977] (published by the German Bible Societies/UBS [United Bible Societies is the official name] )  both of these UBS O.T. Corrupt Versions are from "the work" of Rudolph & Gerhard Kittel.

If you are going to place your faith in a book, (Such as the Bible - including the Old Testament) don't you think it might be a good idea to know its true source ?

You do not have to take our word for any of this.

Simply take out your Modern Version Bible. Find one that has an introduction that explains which Hebrew Text was used to prepare the Bible Version that you read from.

The "introduction" section of that Bible should provide the

SOURCE from where the Hebrew Text (used in that edition) was

derived. This is something which is often stated

in most Modern Bible Versions.

We do find the evidence concerning Gerhard Kittel to be convincing enough that there is a significant problem with his outlook, his theology, his methods of study and his conclusions. Gerhard Kittel had a larger problem, and that was the problem of his father Rudolph Kittel. 

It is Rudolph Kittel who was the main translator for the The Biblia Hebraica [1937] and the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia [1977], even though Gerhard also worked on it during the 1930s in Germany.  

Most of what Rudolph Kittel believed is still not available [these days] in English...until now. 

The fact is that Rudolph Kittel, though calling himself a scholar, was actually a textual critic. There is a premise (in this case, a myth) that those in Seminaries and at Universities have tried to sell to the public: 

the premise that attacks on the Bible are " for the good of " 1. scholarship or 2. accuracy. 

But that claim is very far from the truth. It turns out that what these false "scholars" wanted was to immortalize themselves and their ability to dethrone the Bible from its legitimate and central place in Christianity. 

Most of these critics were taught by professors who themselves were well known atheists, with particularly long records of attacking Christianity and the Bible. This is not a secret, and we have addressed this elsewhere (see the Book Ravenous Wolves), for those who have the courage to do the research. 

(Those who are lazy or waiting for others to do the work and research FOR THEM, are likely to find that the Rapture is more likely to come first...Most Fake professors (D.Wallace) do not have the courage to admit that they were wrong to follow their textual critics Idols)

As we have said - Rudolph Kittel was an apostate who denied the validity of the Bible. He denied the story of Creation as well as the story of the Fall of man. But if mankind never fell, then what use was the salvation offered by Jesus Christ ?

Kittel even though he was the translator of the Old Testament, did not believe in the Old Testament he translated and passed onto evangelicals. He thought that Jehovah and Elohim were totally separate gods [ ???!!! ] , and that those who passed on the Old Testament to the Christians had been led astray. He thought that his own Old Testament was a fake !

Kittel's beliefs however, DO affect his translation of the Old Testament and his choice of words, and his decisions in collation, the process of assembling the Old Testament from the various Hebrew Manuscripts. While the Dead Sea Scrolls Do validate the Old Testament Textus Receptus (which we have made available), Kittel chose to use the 

fraudulent work of Ben Asher for his version of the Old Testament. 

The False Hebrew Translation of Kittel is the basis for almost every Modern Version of the Bible in English. 

It is the work of Kittel that we read - each and every time - we open the Bible to read the Old Testament, in the New International Version, the CEV, the TEV, the TNIV, and even the NKJV. 

These facts - sadly - are the basis for our conclusions about Kittel.

Do I understand that there are Spiritual Forces that want to prevent me from having GREATER spiritual understanding about God, but that God himself is always in MORE of a hurry than I am, for Me to get to know HIM ?
